My Birds

In addition to Rabbits, I also have birds and cats.  This page shows pictures of my birds.

The birds have an alarm clock that goes off at 10:00am, and they know that means its time to wake up.  They start yelling and squealing and making their calls for me.  If my kids are in the other room, they just start to laugh.  I come over and turn off their alarm, remove the cover from their cage and turn on the bedroom light.  At this point, they are all staring at me and rocking back and forth on their perches and doing little tip toe dances to get my attention.  This is just the cutest little thing you could ever imagine.

Sometimes, the birds take their baths in a little bucket where they splash around and enjoy their time.  Peanut loves shower tie and loves to go in the shower with me as does Zazu.  We use a spray bottle with a mister each morning on Rosie and she flaps her wings and just loves to be sprayed.  In addition to this, she goes in the shower also and loves the warm running water.  Shower time is enjoyed by all.

Rosie playing on her play toy and preening herself	Rosie climbed to the top of her play toy and is playing with the toy that is hanging from the ceiling.  She loves to strip the "bagels" apart	Rosie sharing Raisin Bran with me.  If you click on this picture to make it larger, you can see her licking a spoonful at the same time that I am eating a spoonful.
