My Cats

In addition to Rabbits, I also have birds and cats.  This page shows pictures of my cats.  I have 9 of them and they are all rescues.  They are Shaney, Shira, Orca, Foxy, Roo, Beth, Socks, Snickers and Tiger.

Shaney the Maine Coon Cat

King of the House

Shaney holding Cry Baby (my daughters cat) in place, so he can groom her

Shira

Beautiful Shira

Shira stretched out and comfortable on my daughters bed

Orca - This is the Psycho kitty!  He yells and screams if you touch his feet or tail and bits you, but never actually bites down

Orca loves to sleep on our bed, and snuggle up with Marvin.  He loves to be pet, but beware of picking him up.

Foxy Mommy.  We received a call though our local humane society about this cat and her babies.  We adopted her and one of her babies (Roo).  We didn't realize she was already pregant again and were surprised with another litter.

Foxy nursing her kittens.  She is a great mother to her kittens, but she was spayed immediately after the babies were weaned.  She gave birth to Tiger, Socks, Snickers and Cry Baby.  My oldest daughter adopted Cry Baby

Foxy sleeping.  This cat is the most gentle, lady like, feminine cats I have ever seen.  She is very cuddly and purrs quite loudly!

Roo (As in Kanga and Roo.  Little Roo is grey and she hops.  This is exactly how this kitty looks and gets around)

Roo resting.  She only has 3 legs.  The 4th leg, is just a little deformed stump, but you can't tell her she's disabled!

Roo loves to groom and "mother" all the cats in the house.  In this picture, she is with Tiger, when she was only a few months old

Beth

Beth being groomed by Roo

Beth laying on top of Socks , who is sound asleep on her back

Socks

Socks Snoozing

Socks at 4 weeks old.  She was a back sleeper at this early age and continues to sleep this way now.  The babies were born on 10/18/04.

Snickers on his favorite level of the cat climbing tree

Snickers playing on the cat toy that we fill with catnip.  Those are Roo's feet showing at the bottom

Snickers at 8 weeks old.  He is now the biggest of all the cats and weighs 17 pounds

Tiger

Tiger loves paper.  Here she is eating a paper bag from my closet.

Tiger and Socks in a piece of my daughters artwork.

This is all the kitties, including my daughters, joining me in the bathroom.  My husband thinks its funny to stick them all in the bathroom one at a time when I am in there.  Of course, I love to have them in there.

The kitties like to rip open the bag of cat food themselves, before we can open it and feed them.  We call it self service!  Needless to say, we have to store their food in a plastic bucket.

The cats like to sleep amongst the stuffed animals on my daughter Caitlin's bed.  Some nights, there is no room for Caitlin!
